Premisa Arapi

Co-founder & Executive Director

Premisa Arapi is currently a Master of Science student at the Technical University of Munich (Bioeconomy – Biotechnology specialization). She graduated among the top three students in Economics at Trakya University in 2018 and spent a semester abroad at the University of Szczecin, Poland through the Erasmus+ programme.

She also holds TU Delft certificates in “Circular Economy: An Introduction” and “Circular Economy for a Sustainable Built Environment”. Upon returning to Kosovo, Premisa worked briefly in banking before joining a local CSO.

Since 2019 she has served as Local Project Coordinator for the EU-funded “Civic-Public Partnership for Innovative Governance of Public Infrastructure” across Peja, Prizren and Mitrovica. Her civic engagement includes chairing the selection committee for the Council of Cultural Heritage of Prizren Historic Center and co-facilitating youth projects on renewable energy and smart-home prototyping supported by the Directorate of Culture, Youth and Sport.

Co-founder, Managing Director & Architect

Primesa Arapi is an architect specialising in energy-efficient and bioclimatic design. She earned her Bachelor’s in Architecture from Trakya University (top 10 % of the 2018 cohort) and completed a Master’s degree in Sustainable Architecture at Tampere University, where she received an Academic Excellence Scholarship in 2021.

Her professional background spans restoration, conservation, urban planning and landscape architecture through roles at the Regional Center of Cultural Heritage, Prizren Municipality and Autostrada Biennale. She has also taken part in hands-on workshops such as the conservation of the Mill of Frrok Dokici organised by CHwB.

Primesa has completed online courses including “Sustainable Building Design” (MIT), “Zero-Energy Design” (TU Delft) and “The Effects of Climate Change” (Harvard). She co-facilitated youth projects on renewable energy and smart-home prototyping funded by the Directorate of Culture, Youth and Sport, and now leads architectural projects at Spectra while developing training materials on building-energy modelling and efficiency calculations.
